Hollowed Ground is a fictional movie that I created the plot to and then proceeded to create a poster for.

The basic plot is of a paranormal investigator traveling to a remote Appalachian town to investigate a plea for help from a local resident. When she arrives, she finds the town empty. She starts to wonder if this was an elaborate prank, when she is suddenly brought into a dark realm, identical to the town but within the demon’s domain. She must find the demon and free the townspeople’s souls before she becomes a victim herself.

The movie poster is a depiction of the main character entering the mine that the demon inhabits, trapping their souls one by one. The entrance becomes the demon’s form, antlers shaped in clawed hands that threaten to trap her forever.

I also animated an augmented reality experience to view this project, pulling you into the world of Hollowed Ground.
